Reasons why You Should Move to the Twin Cities in Minnesota
Minnesota is one of the most beautiful places on earth. With more than 16000 lakes, everyone (almost) gets to live on a lake, or at least have a view of one. There are many parks and wide open spaces too. Even the urban areas boast green belts, trees and ponds.
Minnesota is not for those who do not know how to embrace winters. The true Minnesota people love the many sporting opportunities the lakes and the snow clad terrain offer us. We are a largely healthy society, because there are so many recreational things to do. We are big outdoor fans believe it or not! We do own a number of great coats and are equipped to deal with the cold weather.
The economy is great and there are many job opportunities in the region. Everywhere I look there are signs up offering jobs. Of course the bigger cities of Minneapolis and St Paul are brimming with work possibilities and with the summer comes many extra work propositions, but on the whole Minnesota has a fantastic economy. Minnesota boasts a relatively low cost of living and real estate is affordable, two winning combinations.
The Public school system in Minnesota consistently ranks in the top percentiles. The schooling, universities and colleges are amongst the best in the country and produce top graduates who are sought after and often remain in beautiful Minnesota when their studying is over. Art and culture are cherished as part of the Minnesota lifestyle and there are many wonderful theaters, arts and culture venues.
The Twin Cities have a wonderful blend of friendly, caring, fun loving people who love life. There is a good mix of mature and young people and there are great amenities to suit every lifestyle.
The crime stats for Minnesota are amongst the lowest in the country and that is a great reason alone to move to this beautiful State.
The Twin Cities in Minnesota has tremendous natural beauty, wonderful walking trails, cycling and hiking trails, cross country and downhill skiing (nearby) and just the most wonderful lifestyle opportunities. We have superb restaurants, the best shopping centers and the most fantastic cultural events too. We love our cooler climate and embrace our winters. If you have been sitting on the fence not sure whether Minnesota is the place for you or your loved ones, then I hope this post has given you some peace of mind.
